People are at the Heart of Wildlife

Wildlife Link is our way of bringing you closer to a wildlife hospital.

The UK is one of the most nature deprived countries in the world! We know that wildlife hospitals can play a valuable part to rectify this. So justifiably Wildlife Link is an exciting wildlife hospital initiative where people and wildlife matter.

In the UK there are over 300,000 wild animals admitted to over 500 wildlife hospitals each year. Orphaned, displaced or injured they arrive at the doorstep of a wildlife carer. Passionate people saving the lives of thousands of animals from their own homes and relying entirely on the goodwill of caring people who may volunteer to help, make a donation or being a foster carer.

We know that a wildlife carer needs decent and reliable equipment. Access to an understanding vet, rescue and release equipment as well as enclosures built to enable an animals recovery. Our wildlife challenges have already supported wildlife hospitals but we need to do more. So we intend to ensure the right resources reach them. You can see what an impact we are already making on our 'Wildlife Challenge' page.

Wildlife rescuers are passionate people though are under intense pressure and hugely under-resourced to remain active and to continue to save our wildlife heritage. The fact is that without them then there is every possibility that the UK will continue to remain as one of the most nature deprived countries. So how can we all be part of a new and motivating revolution?

Bestowing £20.00 means that you receive a personalised framed certificate (like the one in the picture). For every £1 spent on the right resources and education, more than £2 is returned through saved time, increased productivity and reduced costs. All we ask is that you display your certificate at home, at work - where others can see and they can then make a difference.

People are at the heart of Wildlife Link:

Since we love sharing our passion about nature Wildlife Link ensures that people will benefit from participating on our community projects too. Wildlife Link sends ambassadors into the community to spread the word about wildlife conservation inspiring people to get involved for wildlife. The health benefits of working outdoors, in natural settings and with other people is especially rewarding.

So you see - being a proud owner of your Wildlife Link certificate has a huge impact for the future of wildlife and giving back to people!

"It's all about encouraging people to participate and learn about the natural world through hands on discovery."
