Wildlife Link is Arriving
Wildlife Link is an excitng new initiative which aims to provide aid for wildlife hospitals, to benefit young people engaging on fulfilling and inspiring workshops and to contirbute to wildlife conservation in the UK. Like the sound of it? Want to be involved? Then read on:
The UK is one of the most nature deprived countries in the world! We know that wildlife hopsitals can play a valuable part to rectify this. We all have a reponsibility for the health of the natural world - after all we are consciously more aware of how vital the natural world is to our own health and our well-being. So justifiably Wildlfie Link is a new and exciting wildlife hospital initiative where people and wildlife matter. So let me tell you a little more about it.
In the UK there are over 300,000 wild animals admitted to over 500 wildlife hospitals each year. Orphaned, displaced or injured they arrive at the doorstep of a wildlife carer. Passionate people saving the lives of thousands of animals from their own homes and relying entirely on the goodwill of caring people who may volunteer to help, make a donation or being a foster carer.
We know that a wildlife carer needs decent and reliable equipment. Access to an understanding vet, rescue and release equipment and enclosures built to enable an animals recovery. Our wildlife challenges have already supported many wildlfie hospitals but it's not enough. We are being asked to do more. So we intend to ensure the right resources reach them. You can see what an impact we are already making on our 'Wildlife Challenge' page.
As is the case these passionate people are under intense pressure and hugely under-resourced to remain active and to continue to save our wildlife heritage. The fact is that without them then there is every possibility that the UK will continue to remain as one of the most nature deprived countries. So how can we all be part of a new and motivating revolution?
So if you love wildlife this is where you can make a huge impact, and recieve a very special gift.
Bestowing £35.00 means that you receive a personalised framed certificate (like the one in the picture). For every £1 spent on the right resources and education, more than £3 is returned through saved time, increased productivity and reduced costs. All we ask is that you display your certificate at home, at work - where others can see and they can then make a difference.
Children are at the heart of Wildlife Link:
Since we love sharing our passion about nature Wildlife Link ensures that young people will benefit from partcipating on our inspiring workshops. Wildlfie Link sends ambassadors into the community to spread the word about wildlife hospitals. Motivated and inspired; children and adults alike become enriched and more aware about local wildlife. With new and exciting ways to inspire children about the natural world they become future ambassadors themselves. The opportunities are exciting and abundant.
So you see - being a proud owner of your Wildlfie Link certificate has a huge impact for the future of our natural heritage and giving back to young people the future ambassdors!
What you can do:
