Towering to the pond trail

Nestled between the urban communities of north Blackpool is a historic network of ponds. They provide both a natural breathing space for Blackpool residents and a haven for wildlife.  The North Blackpool Pond Trail, ecologically is nationally important.  WildAid Charlie has secured funding to deliver a series of natural history surveys throughout 2015.  He said:  After delivering a pond survey with students from the 6th Form college earlier this summer, I am thrilled to be returning and engaging local residents with nature.   We will keep you updated of more news about this project during the year.

"It's all about encouraging people to participate and learn about the natural world through hands on discovery."
