RSPCA Stapeley Grange Guided Bat Walk

Such a popular event. Over 30 people joined the Education team to learn about British bats.  With a bat walk to follow – all was set to experience a ‘bat active’ experience. The bats had other ideas. Despite the good weather, and plenty of flying insects to forage on the bats, it seemed, fancied a night off.

Our disappointed did lighten, late into the evening, when a small number of Pipistrelle bats delivered a foraging frenzy right in front of our eyes.  It was amazing. The Education team will be delivering a further bat walk on September 25th from 8pm. The weather has been booked, the bats have been requested to attend. Sure book your place for a great evening.

"It's all about encouraging people to participate and learn about the natural world through hands on discovery."
