The Big Bear Picnic

The excitement will be UN-BEARABLE! From your living room, your garden, any space from your home, bring your family, and your teddies and as nation let us share together ...... and stage the largest Teddy Bear Picnic ever!

There is no limit to the number of teddies who can join.

Why is this happening?

There would normally be an admission charge at a venue to host such an exciting event like this. Instead please, if you can, donate a minimum of £ 2.00 a month or a minimum of £5.00 to ensure:

  • That resources can be distributed to wildlife hospitals where they are most urgently needed and avoid them closing down due to the Covoid-19 crisis.  Ultimately this will save the lives of hundreds possibly thousands of animals.
  • That we can continue to reach children, the most vulnerable in our communities, and deliver our workshops where the lives of  young people really are changed.

Why it matters?

Here at WildAid our operations were halted when the UK braced a lockdown. How our charitable work can operate is unpredictable and this is why we ask of your understanding of what we do for people and wildlife and support us. There is no limit to how the Coronavirus has devastated and changed us all. Their is every chance that parts of our community will not receive much if any support and we want to ensure that the wildlife hospitals and the young people we work with are counted.

This is an opportunity for us, together, to save lives and to help children and families that are most vulnerable.

To help things along over the weeks, you will find an invitation, delicious recipes and games to make your Big Bear Picnic epic. You will find these across our social media as we lead up to The Big Bear Picnic!

As we gear up for the excitement of the Big Bear Picnic do remember to share your pictures and stories about how your bears are preparing for their picnic!

Let's make this happen!

"It's all about encouraging people to participate and learn about the natural world through hands on discovery."
